Last card in the book.
In the Arrow several years have passed and Cate is now a young lady of 21. Gregor has been having a bit of an "off" few months in the respect his aim is all off. He takes pride in the fact that his is extremely good with a bow, in fact, he is one of the BEST but he's realized that, even though his aim his sure and his target does bite the dust, it isn't as perfect as is usually his. After a flubbed attempt to take Berwick Castle for the Bruce, him and his fellow guardsmen are told they should take a few weeks off, that they all needed a break and to go home and rest up. He'd need them soon enough come January.
Upon returning home he runs into a Cate who is filthy from being shoved in the mud by the village bully (she bested him which he didn't take to kindly to) and she'd wanted so much for him to see her as a woman not a child. What she doesn't know is that he HAS been having thoughts of her and they aren't those of a guardian toward their ward but a man toward a woman. What Cate has never told him is that she is older than she said she was when he fished her out of the well. He thinks she 18 to his 31 but in reality she is only ten years his junior. Gregor has decided that what she needs is a husband, which I don't think she will take to. If she wants any man it is Gregor and she has her heart set on him.
The paper doll for today is another Lucy Leary from 1952.
