1983 Katy Keene Coloring Calendar

                    HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 

Hope you keep to your resolutions this year.  I wanted to mention some alterations to the page above. I took out the 83 that was on this page and altered his nose a little by bringing it down a smidge. K.O. looks very suave in his suit. I was also going to insert an updated version of the date portion of the calendar but, much to my dismay, I never scanned it and I've since sold the calendar on Ebay. 

Excuse the quality on the above paper doll. It came from a disc I bought on Ebay from a seller who thought to take photos of the paper dolls she was selling. If nothing else it can be used as reference for 1950's fashions. Date is unknown. The seller didn't think to add the date on these.

A QUICK POST

Wanted to post another Katy Keene item that I had, just for fun...it's from a coloring calender for 1983. I think I might be able to alter it to get rid of the'83 and bring it more up to date. It's just a matter of rearranging some elements within the picture.

Complete strip with paper doll. I used to read Jane Arden when I was a little girl  after Mother got finished reading the paper. I loved cutting out Jane and making my own clothes for her. Like the dress but it's a little to drab for my taste. 

Enlarged the paper doll and brightened it up a bit. The photo was a little to dark. I also brought up the dpi from 72 to 300 she should be fairly good to print now and her dress SHOULD fit. She was on a disk  bought from a seller on Ebay who, rather than scan the strip photographed it instead. It wasn't a bad photo since you can clearly read the the words without it being to pixelated.
