SIX AGAINST THE GALAXY CONTINUED...

Sorry I'm late with the next six pages but I was wrapped up listing on Ebay for the last couple of nights and didn't get back to posting more of Issue 2. So without further ado....

Chewie doesn't look like himself either.

To be continued...

Book I'm reading at the moment...
I like the old illustrated covers rather than the more modern photographed covers. The book is good so far...about a woman who had an affair at University and upon coming home to the Dales in Yorkshire 10 years later runs into her old flame who is conducting experiments at a facility that borders her parents' farm. What he doesn't know is that she was pregnant when they separated and she was informed when they were seeing each other that he was married and had two sons.

Til next time...

Star Wars saga continued...Issue 2 August 1977

I just love this image of Princess Leia. They may not have gotten Luke or Han right but they did a good job with this image.  When I went to see Star Wars in '77 I was absolutely blown away by the film. I can tell you exactly where I was when each film came out...I was in Ventura California, stationed at Camarillo working for the CCC when I saw Star Wars with my friend Kay Avila. I was in Phoenix, Arizona when I saw Empire at the Valley West Mall (now a Walmart store) and in Honolulu, Hawaii when Jedi was \released. I will never forget the day they let me in for free...it was my 50th viewing of the movie and because I'd been there so many times (at least twice, sometimes three times, a week) the management let me see it that day free of charge. Out of the three, Jedi was, and still is, my favorite. Wish I could remember the theater in Honolulu where it had played.

I like the swimsuit and blue dress but am not crazy about that yellow gown. I think it's the bow on the bodice that makes it unappealing for me.
