On a personal note, the water is back on. Thank goodness!! I don't mind being without water if I am camping and roughing it but living in the modern world with flushing toilets and running water, you get used to such luxeries and it sucks when you don't have them for a few days.
I didn't post a paper doll yesterday so I hope todays will make up for it because I don't have very many of her in my collection. It's Brenda Starr from September 14th, 1941. She's a little "off" and I had to adjust her somewhat because it is a photo rather than a scan. Like some of the Tillie's I bought her from a seller who'd had the forethought to put the paper dolls she was selling on a disk. I've seen plenty of these on Ebay but usually can't afford them so have to be satisfied with what I can get and hope they are clear enough to be used as reference material if nothing else.
My favorite of Brenda's clothes has to be the wedding dress. Very Arabian Nightish. I have always loved the tales from 101 Arabian Nights and have had a love for anything and everything middle eastern since I was a small girl. Dispite the problems we have had with the countries in that part of the world, that doesn't stop me from not only loving the culture but wanting to someday visit the region. One of my favorite musicals is Kismet with Howard Keel and Anne Blyth. I love the songs and have the soundtrack to the movie on CD.

Finally before I close for today the Pin-up for September. Another one by Al Moore and since it is football season it's definitely appropriate. :)
Until next time I leave you with a flower coloring page and much....
ALOHA!
